Huge gallery update – Movie productions

Our space issue is now fixed, and I have started to upload lots of new photos into our galleries for you lot! I decided to begin with the Movies section, before I move on to the Television series – but I might upload a bit here and there until our galleries are complete.  Anyway, almost 2 000 screencaptures, stills, covers and more from Alyssa’s movies have now found their way into our galleries! This section is still far from complete, but I will get there eventually ;) Seeing as there have been a lot of updates, and they can all be found in the same category, I will not post single links for you for each album. But if you head over to the Movies section of the gallery and start browsing, you’ll easily be able to view all the photos! Below you’ll be able to see some previews for some of the albums. Enjoy all the greatness, and come back to Alyssa Milano Online soon for more!

Movie Productions: Stills, Screencaptures, Covers and more x 1993 new files

EDIT: 11 More photos from “Single With Parents” have now been added!

Introducing Alyssa Milano Online!

Hello, and welcome to Alyssa Milano Online! My name is Isabelle, and I am the webmiss of AMO. I have wanted to create a site for Lyssa for many years, and now I finally did! The aim with the site is to bring fans all the latest and greatest on one of my alltime favourite celebrities, as well as giving you bucketloads of goodies and in-depth information. We already have a information section which contains quite a lot of info, trivia and quotes – but I can assure you that this one will keep on growing! Same goes for our career page. Seing as Alyssa is pretty quiet these days, there will probably be lots of time to work on much more content for y’all! The site is far from done, but I really couldn’t resist opening it now.

Our galleries are currently holding 6 000+ photos of Alyssa. This count number is going to go way up, and probably quite quickly as well. Our amazing host only gives us a certain amount of space before the website is up and running smoothly, which means I didn’t have enough space to add all images yet (due to our many sections, most of which will be opening their doors in the following days). Nevertheless, it still contains more pretty-ness than you can ever imagine! So make sure you do check that one out. There are even a few rare and oldies hidden among all the not-so-exclusive but still drop-dead-gorgeous ones. Oh, and 99% of all the appearances photos are in awsomely high quality! ;)

Now I’ll let you start browsing the site! If you experience any broken links or weird looking pages, then please let me know and I’ll take a look at it. Comments and suggestions are “yay’s”, and truely appriciated! You can leave a comment on this post, use the form at our contact page, or send us an email to admin@alyssa-milano.net. I will get back to you as soon as possible! We are also looking for many new affiliates in all categories, so head over to our affiliation page and apply if interested. I think that pretty much sums everything up – I hope you will enjoy the site, and make sure come back regulary for everything you could ever want for on Alyssa! :D

Bucket Charity Generate Outpouring of Support for Building Wells in Africa

The Drop in the Bucket ‘Cause on the Rocks’ fundraiser presented by Causecast was hosted by esteemed actress, designer and philanthropist Alyssa Milano at the Viceroy Santa Monica on Tuesday, October 19. The evening raised funds and awareness for Drop in the Bucket’s work improving the health and safety of children in Africa by bringing clean water wells and specially designed Eco-sanitation systems to African schools, particularly those regions such as northern Uganda and Southern Sudan.

“Every person on the planet deserves access to clean water and sanitation,” said Milano. “I appreciated the opportunity to be a part of the Drop in the Bucket fundraising event. It was inspiring and motivating.”

Milano was introduced by Drop in the Bucket supporter Henry Rollins, who expressed his own admiration and support for the work of the organization. Benson Deng, co-author and subject of the book, “They Poured Fire On Us From The Sky: The True Story of Three Lost Boys from Sudan,” was the guest speaker of the evening, relating his experience as a former child refugee from Sudan to the region’s current need for fresh water.

Organization co-founder John Travis ended the presentation by detailing Drop in the Bucket’s progression in four years from the first volunteer meetings around a kitchen table in Los Angeles, to the full-time operations they have established in Africa, including offices in Gulu, Uganda.

“We appreciate everyone’s support tonight for our work bringing clean-water and sanitation to rural Africa,” added Drop in the Bucket executive director, Stacey Travis. “Over 4,500 children die each day from water-related diseases and your help allows us to develop additional ways to reduce that number.”

DJ Native Wayne from KROQ and INDIE 103.1 FM provided music for the evening while guests filled out bid sheets for silent auction items such as an original print from famed civil rights photographer Ernest Withers, a signed Quincy Jones limited edition embellished giclee and handmade African jewelry, fabric wristlets and bags.

Among the guests joining Milano, Rollins and Deng to support the organization were Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame Member and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Booker T. Jones; actor Ade M’cormack (Blood Diamond); musicians Gerald Casale (Devo) and Ken Jordan (The Crystal Method); and actresses Jill-Michele Melean, (Mad TV), Lee Meriwether (All My Children), Shelby Young (The Social Network), Kate Linder (Young and the Restless) and Heather Tom (The Bold and the Beautiful).

The benefit committee for the event included: Simon & Sara Renshaw, Rob McDermott & Rebecca Salgado-McDermott, Andy Gould, Chris Specht & Patty Ivins-Specht, Cassie Lambert, Anthony Dominici & Georgia Archer, Mary Noon, John and Stacey Travis, Sonja Nelson and Leah Willensky.

Photos taken of African children enjoying newly installed wells covered the walls of the event and throw pillows created by event organizer Marketing A Cause were imprinted with water facts to remind guests of the crucial impact of the funds raised during the evening.

Additionally, 100% of the proceeds from the Voli Vodka-created drink ‘Splash of Life’ being sold for $10 during the evening-and throughout the month of October-at Viceroy Santa Monica also benefited Drop in the Bucket.
